8 16mm Black and Green Lucite Beads Vintage Lucite Puffed Saucer Beads

The shape of these beads is kind of hard to describe. I suppose technically they are saucer beads, but they are rounder as if they are made of bread dough that has risen. They are very nearly round, but with a bit of added thickness to the middle, almost as if someone made a round ball of clay and then, when they set it on the table, they pushed just a little too hard, making it slightly squished.

It's a wonderful, not often seen shape that I think could add a bit of whimsy to a design.
